Airlines Offering Free Facebook on Flights in February

Gogo Inflight Internet has announced that they will offer free in-flight access to Facebook during the month of February. Airlines participating in the promotion include AirTran Airways, Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Delta Airlines, United Airlines, US Airways, and Virgin America

According to Gogo, Facebook is the most visited site by customers using their in-flight internet service making it an attractive offer for frequent fliers and customers unwilling to shell out extra money for internet access during flights.

MSNBC reports that the promotion comes on the heels of Gogo and airlines offering free Wi-Fi access during the holiday season. Normally travelers must pay between $4.95 and $13 for Wi-Fi access depending on the length of the flight.
