Boeing 787 Delays to Continue?

Business Insider reports that Boeing may be facing an uphill battle over the coming months to get the 787 assembly line up to speed after noticing parts deliveries from around the world have slowed significantly.

UBS gauged production volume by tracking flights of the 747 Dreamlifter — used to transport airplane parts — into Snohomish County Paine Field Airport, near the Dreamliner plant. Recently traffic has slowed to a standstill.

The report does not speculate on how the deliveries will affect the 787 but it seems that while first delivery may remain on target for the end of the quarter, we may not see the production line ramp up for quite some time.
